1. DEPUTY MANAGER – OPERATIONS
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies / Logistics
2nd/3rd Officer sailing experience preferred
Experience Required:
5-7 years in container shipping/feeder operations with supervisory exposure
Key Skills Required:
Stowage planning software (MACS3, CASP) & marine stability
Leadership
Crisis management
Cost-saving mindset
Cargo claims & P&I coordination
Role / Job Responsibilities:
Lead feeder vessel operations
Port coordination
Lead the stowage team to drive efficiency
Cost control
Schedule reliability
Safe cargo handling
Supervise stowage planners
Audit plans for stability, stress, trim & structural compliance
Monitor vessel positions, ETAs, weather & port productivity to maintain schedules
Ensure proper handling/segregation of DG, reefer & OOG cargo
Monitor vessel performance and bunker consumption
