*1. DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER* *Department:* Electrical & Instrumentation
*Education Required* – Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
*Experience Required* – Minimum 15–20 years of relevant experience, including substantial experience in the Sugar Industry – Must have served as Head of Electrical & Instrumentation Department or an equivalent leadership role in a reputable sugar mill in Pakistan – Thorough knowledge of: – Power generation and distribution systems – Electrical maintenance and protection systems – Instrumentation and process control – PLC, SCADA, DCS, VFDs, and industrial automation – Preventive & predictive maintenance practices – Energy management and troubleshooting – Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and team management skills
*Key Responsibilities* – Lead and manage the Electrical & Instrumentation Department – Ensure maximum plant availability through effective preventive and predictive maintenance – Plan, supervise, and optimize electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems across the factory – Maintain high standards of operational efficiency, safety, reliability, and energy management – Lead troubleshooting during crushing season and minimize equipment downtime – Manage departmental budgets, inventories, shutdown planning, and capital improvement projects – Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards and statutory requirements – Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team while promoting a culture of continuous improvement
